an explanation

choos. the game of the week. the dumbest way to play chess. whatever you want to call it, it exists.
i will now explain why.

introduction / rules

to begin, if you haven’t played choos, the rules are simple.

• both players begin by each selecting an “army” of pieces, which determines how their pieces move.
• then, both players take turns to make moves. normal chess stuff.
• the game ends when either player captures the enemy’s king.

first, an unspecified amount of time ago, i saw this wikipedia article.
you may say “this is literally just choos.” well, yes. but also there’s more and it’s online and you can play it etc.

uh. i don’t know how to end this. play choos. it has matchmaking now (but nobody plays it rn) (get people to play choos if you want)
