what????

you heard me right. bangopoly deal. bang and monopoly deal. two opposite games? no longer.

you will need

• a Bang! deck
• a Monopoly Deal deck
• Bang! Gold Rush
• Bang! Armed and Dangerous (optional but recommended)
• any other Bang! expansions
• to not take this too seriously

setup

first, shuffle the bang cards and the monopoly deal cards.
then players select characters as normal. you can use roles if you want, or you can play without them. do whatever.
(optional: play with multiple characters)

players draw their hands, and the shop is dealt out.

gameplay

on your turn, draw two cards like normal. you can play 3 monopoly deal cards per turn, and unlimited bang! game cards per turn (but only one Bang! card, with normal exceptions applying).

players win by either the normal Bang! win conditions or getting three property sets.

that is all you need to know to play, but there are many interactions that need to be explained.

interactions

players may use Bang! blue (or orange) as payment, which immediately are played on the person charging rent.
they are worth their face value.

• jacks, queens, kings, and aces are worth 10 dollars.
• this includes Dynamite, Rattlesnakes, Jails, etc.
• this also includes Ghosts! the Ghost dies, and the person who now has the Ghost remains alive, and cannot gain nor lose life points.

cards that refer to gold nuggets or whatever the armed and dangerous tokens are called now use monopoly deal money.

• orange cards do not have money on them, money is spent from your reserve.

you may only purchase from the Gold Rush shop with actual money, or cards played as money (not blue/orange cards or properties).

players may pay three dollars to another player as a Missed! against them.

Bang! blue cards do not form sets for Monopoly Deal.

changes

to accomodate the new rules, some cards are changed slightly.

• Bass Greeves’ ablity is changed to “Once per turn, you may play a Bang! game card as money.”
• Red Ringo’s ability is changed to “Your first shop item is free.”
• Frankie Canton’s ability is changed to “Once per turn, you may charge a player $1 rent.”
• Lucky Charm and Simeon Picos’ abilities are changed to “When you lose a life, charge the player that hurt you $1 rent.”
• Dutch Will’s ability is changed to “He always draws one Bang! and one Monopoly Deal card.”
